Yesterday at approximately 15:40 Milford Township Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a dwelling fire on Fennel Rd. U58 and Engine 58 arrived on scene and confirmed an active fire and added a tanker task force. Asst 57 (J.Sink) assumed command and requested a full box assignment. A 2nd alarm was struck to help with manpower due to the excessive heat and humidity.
Tower 57, Engine 75, Engine 57, Tanker 75 along with crews from Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, and Berks County assisted.
After clearing from the dwelling fire crews where back at the station placing the trucks into service. MTVFC was dispatched to AM Drive for a Water flow alarm. Asst 57 arrived on scene with a smoke condition and filled the box alarm. Engine 57 and Lehigh Ladder 4(still covering from 57) responded and quickly went into service holding the fire to exterior of a CNC machine. Multiple companies assisted with ventilation before clearing the call.
Both incidents are being investigated by the Fire Marshal. Thanks to everyone that played a role in both incidents.
